A Place for Us Greyhounds
Out for a walk with Carina
Celeste was the first of the hounds that were rescued from Mitchell County to get adopted. We were so thrilled when the Velasquez family of Lubbock met her and decided she would be a good fit for their family. She got adopted on May 6th, 2016, and has been in doggy heaven ever since! Her family adore her and have nicknamed her Albert Einstein as she has the tendency to give them these wise looks and is very attentive and observant. She acclimated very quickly to her new family--and is out and about in their neighborhood and was also recently photographed by the local newspaper's representative as she and Gillian were out at Tech Terrace Park. What a wonderful story and happy outcome--we are so happy!
Demonstrating Napping--happy, happy!
