Bear enjoying life with Scott--his hound-dad!

Bear had his surgery on May 16--there was some concern and he had to have two weeks of antibiotics and steroids due to a low platelet count secondary to Ehrlichiosis. Thankfully, he recovered from the surgery without any problems and on the 26th of May--he was adopted by Scott and lives in Lubbock.  On the 25th of May--Roxanne McDaniel did a very nice photo shoot of Bear. What an eventful week for it was for all of us! 


Bear was one of the four dogs rescued from Mitchell County, TX--we were so happy to be able to help Bear and find a wonderful home for him.
